      My heart's pounding. My breathing is heavy. This is how it always is when he walks by me. God forbid the boy ever looked at me. And if he were to talk to me… I don't know what I'd do. His name is Lucas Bell, a freshman at Roadwick High. He's smart, not really popular, but he makes me feel like no one else has ever made me feel. Then of course there's me Richard Jacobs or "The Dick" as some call me. I'm a popular quarterback who's done almost every cheer leader. I'm a junior and take Algebra II, but Lucas is smart (like I said) and takes this class as a freshman. The other night I was out with Candy (one of the cheerleaders.)
